Pool **Learning Class

Date of Capture > 10th of May 2007
Venue > Pool Room, which is located beside the Old Town Cafe of Cyberjaya.

Description > What you should know before u start the game? Pool(pocket billiards) generally played on a pool table with six pockets. There are seven solid-colored balls numbered 1 through 7, seven striped balls numbered 9 through 15, an 8 ball, and a cue ball.

1. Setup :
To start the game, the object balls are placed in a triangular rack.
The base of the rack is parallel to the end rail (the short end of the pool table) and positioned so the apex ball of the rack is located on the foot spot.
2. Break :
One person is chosen (by a predetermined method, e.g., coin flip) to shoot first and break the object ball rack apart.
3. Turn :
A player will continue to shoot until committing a foul (fault), or failing to pocket a legal object ball.
Then the incoming player has ball-in-hand anywhere on the table.
4. Pocketing the eight balls :
Once all the player's object balls are pocketed, he/she may attempt to sink the 8 ball.
To win, the player must first call which pocket they plan to sink the 8 ball into.

Extension > Hehe! This time the actual players are Kuan &William. I'm not really like to play pool when i'm in the crowd, but i'm interest to have a try on it (kan ngam this time there is no others "strangers" in the pool room, beside my friends and me,so mah play play, relax relax lo!). It is a relaxing, easy-playing and not tiring game (as you know, we don't have too much entertainment at Cyberjaya after class). And it is only cost RM3 per game at Cyberjaya. Just for fun!
